The little one outgrowing his bed, I had two mattresses from Ikea to work with, and as I have been wanting for a long time to get hold of a klip klap (but was put off by the price), here was my chance at making it happen :-)
It was very easy to cut the mattresses with a regular cutter, covered the ends
Sewed covers with my favourite fabric from ikea
To make the joints, I sewed two rectangular bands at the edges
As I had four halfs, I made a 3 fold klip klap and a cushion
