After some frequent visits to Juliarunge's blog, I decided to try and do one of her fantastic cutie pouches using this great tutorial with pics from Skip to my Lou

To give them some depth I folded each corner (of the lining and the outside fabric) so that the side seams match creating a triangle, sewed the triangle and cut the excess.
It gives a nice volume to the pouch.
